Modeling convection–diffusion processes based on a multidimensional integro-differential equation with degenerate parabolicity

An initial–boundary-value problem for a multidimensional integro-differential equation with degenerate parabolicity is considered. Based on the maximum-principle theorem and splitting method, a nonlinear monotonic high-order (higher than the first) numerical scheme is constructed for an implicit two-layer scheme. For the error of a numerical solution, a priori estimates are obtained and the sufficient convergence conditions are proved. Fundamentals of multidimensional multirate digital signal processing

This paper reviews the fundamentals of multidimensional multirate signal processing. Central to these discussions is the idea of generalized sampling-lattice. Topics discussed include nonrectangular decimators, interpolators, generalized DFT, and filter banks. The multidimensional polyphase decomposition is developed, with applications in decimation filtering and perfect reconstruction filter banks. Review of Canadian mental health law and policy.

Reviews the book, Canadian Mental Health Law and Policy by John E. Gray, Margaret A. Shone, and Peter F. Liddle (2000). The authors of this book have produced a multidisciplinary text that succinctly summarizes the main points of Canadian mental health laws and the variability across provinces and territories in these laws and in their typical interpretation and application. This book offers a concise guide to the laws dealing with key issues such as involuntary hospital admission, authorization of psychiatric treatment, and treatment refusal. Although not always an easy read for those unfamiliar with legal terms and writing, the book is geared to a wide audience that includes legal and policy specialists, mental health professionals, and advocates for the mentally ill. These authors are to be congratulated for their efforts to disseminate and explain information on Canadian mental health law and to promote a more humane and scientifically grounded set of legal standards and interpretations that are pertinent to the disposition and treatment of Canadian citizens with severe mental disorders. Extrusion and boundary evaluation for multidimensional polyhedra

Extrusion is a basic operation allowing the generation of higher intrinsic dimension polyhedra. The paper gives closed formulas both to generate a (d+1)-dimensional polyhedron obtained by affine extrusion of a (d)-dimensional polyhedron, and to generate by rotational extrusion. Algorithms for the boundary evaluation when a decompositive representation is given are also discussed.

The representation used in the paper, based on simplicial complexes, is general and simple, and allows us to represent nonconvex, unconnected, unoriented, nonmanifold and unbounded linear polyhedra. A simplicial complex triangulating the extruded polyhedron is generated by independently extruding the simplices of the input object. The approach is very efficient because no a posteriori triangulation of the extruded polyhedron is required; furthermore, both the underlying complex and the adjacencies between cells are calculated by using closed formulas.     

基于SOM和统计检验的语音特征索引技术

本文在深入介绍线性预测编码、倒谱及Gabor滤波法等三种语音特征抽取方法的基础上,提出基于SOM和统计检验的索引、分段索引以及二重索引的方法用于多媒体声音的自动检索。该方法弥补了传统索引方法的不足,适应语音特征,有效地将语音特征动态索引。仿真结果显示,该方法的查询效率要远远优于顺序查找,基本达到了特征索引的要求。

多通道信号自校正分布式融合Kalman滤波器

对带未知参数的多传感器多通道自回归滑动平均(ARMA)信号,采用多维递推辅助变量(MRIV)方法得到自回归模型参数估值,通过Gevers-Wouters算法辨识滑动平均模型参数估值,再用相关方法得到噪声方差的估值。把所有的估值都代入到最优分布式融合信息滤波器中得到自校正分布式融合Kalman信息滤波器。该滤波器具有渐近全局最优性,一个多通道信号仿真例子验证了其有效性。     

EoC终端自动认证和配置方法的研究

广电运营商广泛采用(Cisco Network Register,CNR)作为Cable业务后台管理系统,实现CMTS+CM网络中的CM认证授权和业务配置。对广电双向网络改造的新兴技术PON+EoC而言,如何与CNR业务管理平台无缝对接,实现多种接入技术工作在统一的网管平台下,是广电双向网改造需要解决的关键问题。根据广电运营商的业务特点和运行要求,突破了EoC终端硬件的限制,创新地提出通过(Coaxial Broadband Access Terminal,CBAT)设备虚拟Agent代理EoC终端的技术方案,从而实现CNR系统与PON+EoC接入技术的融合,完成EoC终端自动认证和业务自动配置。该方案可靠性强,便于维护,为广电网络建设提供了良好的借鉴作用。     

基于云计算平台的鉴权分析

国内云计算平台以系统内部认证和授权作为主要的鉴权方式。在研究国外开源的云平台项目的鉴权方式基础上,分析了云计算平台的认证管理和授权服务过程,实现了鉴权模块的集成,云计算平台在调用服务时通过鉴权模块的统一认证和授权,可以达到权限和资源的有效管理。试验结果表明,此模块的集成可以应用到云计算平台中。
